Dallas is putting three very different kinds of women’s music power on one stage this Labor Day Weekend, and this lineup caught my attention immediately.
Da Brat, Keke Wyatt and Trina are headed to Stone Water Restaurant + Entertainment for Ladies of Hip Hop and R&B, a late-night celebration happening Saturday, September 5, 2026, from 9 p.m. until 2 a.m. at 10261 Technology Boulevard East in Dallas.
Three Women, Three Distinct Sounds
This isn’t simply three names placed on a flyer. Each woman brings a very different chapter of R&B and hip-hop history.
Da Brat helped break barriers with her 1994 debut Funkdafied, which went platinum and made her the first female solo rapper to achieve that sales milestone. Her catalog includes “Funkdafied,” “Give It 2 You” and “What’chu Like,” and she has earned two Grammy nominations during her career.
Then there is Keke Wyatt, and if you know R&B vocals, you already know what that means. Wyatt first captured widespread attention through her collaborations with Avant, including “My First Love” and fan favorite “Nothing in This World.” Her voice brings the soulful side of this particular party, giving the evening something more than a straight hip-hop throwback.
And Trina brings Miami directly into the mix. From “Da Baddest B***h” and “Pull Over” to “Here We Go” featuring Kelly Rowland, her catalog has helped make her one of Southern hip-hop’s most recognizable women for more than two decades.
