BERO Shandy brings four fruit-forward flavors to the non-alcoholic beer aisle, blending a familiar British tradition with a distinctly modern summer spirit.
There is something timeless about a shandy. Crisp beer meets citrus, the afternoon slows down, and suddenly the day feels wide open. Now, BERO Shandy is giving that British ritual a colorful American remix with the brand’s first limited-edition shandy collection.
Co-founded by actor Tom Holland and entrepreneur John Herman, BERO built its reputation around premium non-alcoholic beer that refuses to treat flavor as an afterthought. The seasonal collection continues that mission with four varieties created to follow the arc of a summer day, from the first spark of morning to the final toast after dark.
Four Flavors, One Long Summer Day
Each 12-ounce can combines 30% BERO Kingston Golden Pils with 70% lemonade, then layers in real fruit flavors.
Daybreak Shandy: Lemon Lime begins the lineup with crisp lager, fresh citrus and a tart finish.
Golden Hour Shandy: Grapefruit adds pink grapefruit to the pilsner base, creating a mellow balance of brightness and subtle sweetness.
Sunset Shandy: Elderflower offers a more delicate profile, pairing lemon with floral elderflower notes.
Finally, Midnight Shandy: Blackberry Yuzu closes the day with ripe blackberry, tart citrus and the distinctive herbal edge of yuzu.
Together, the four flavors give non-alcoholic drinkers more options for barbecues, sporting events, outdoor dinners and rooftop evenings. They may also appeal to guests who do not usually reach for beer.
A Shandy Created With Someone Special in Mind
Holland said the idea was partly inspired by “Z,” who is not traditionally a beer drinker. His goal was to create something she could enjoy while exploring a style he has long appreciated.
That personal starting point gives the collection an approachable quality. This is not simply beer with fruit added. It is a bridge between beer culture and the growing audience seeking sophisticated, alcohol-free drinks without sacrificing the social ritual.
Herman described the release as an opportunity to serve BERO’s existing community while welcoming people who may prefer brighter and more fruit-forward beverages.
Where to Find BERO Shandy
The full online rollout began June 8 through BERO’s website. Target becomes the first national retailer to carry the collection beginning June 14. Broader availability follows July 1 at retailers, hotels, lounges and hospitality venues across the country.
The seasonal BERO Shandy collection temporarily joins the company’s Kingston Golden Pils, Noon Wheat, Edge Hill Hazy IPA and Double Tasty West Coast Style IPA.
Summer has always had its own rhythm. BERO has simply placed it in four cans.
