K-Music Night 2026 flyer featuring John Park, OKDAL, Yozoh, and Jeena with the New York City skyline

K-Music Night 2026 is bringing something beautifully intimate to New York City this August. From August 13 through August 16, 2026, the Korean Cultural Center New York will welcome audiences into its Midtown theater for four nights of music, storytelling, identity, and cultural exchange.

Presented by the Korean Cultural Center New York and co-presented with Korea Creative Content Agency New York, this year’s K-Music Night 2026 arrives in celebration of America 250. The series shines a light on Korean music beyond the global sparkle of K-pop. Instead of big stadium energy, this edition leans into soul, acoustic warmth, indie rock, R&B, and singer-songwriter traditions.

And honestly, that is what makes it feel special.

K-pop has introduced Korean culture to millions around the world. But Korean music is not one sound, one style, or one lane. There is also a quieter world of songs that feel like a journal entry, a late-night phone call, or a memory you did not know you were carrying. K-Music Night 2026 gives New York audiences a chance to sit closer to that side of the music.

The series will take place at the Korean Cultural Center New York Theater, located at 122 E. 32nd Street in Manhattan. With only 172 seats, this is not a massive concert hall experience. It is a close-up listening room, where every voice, lyric, and story has room to breathe.

This year’s lineup includes Korean American R&B artist John Park, beloved Korean singer-songwriters OKDAL and Yozoh, and Korean American indie rock artist Jeena.

John Park brings a story that beautifully fits this America 250 moment. Many first discovered him as a Top 20 finalist on American Idol Season 9. He later built a successful career in Korea, creating music shaped by soul, R&B, pop, and singer-songwriter influences. His journey across the United States and Korea reflects the layered beauty of diaspora, identity, and cultural connection.

OKDAL, the duo made up of Kim Yoonju and Park Sejin, brings music filled with gentle honesty. Their songs speak to everyday struggles, quiet encouragement, and the kind of emotional comfort people often need but do not always ask for. Their music feels less like performance and more like a friend sitting beside you.

Yozoh adds another deeply thoughtful voice to the series. A singer-songwriter, writer, and independent bookstore owner, she creates work that moves between music and literature. Her songs are delicate, introspective, and rooted in everyday life. She reminds us that art does not always need to shout to be powerful.

Jeena brings the sound of a new generation. Seoul-born and Los Angeles-based, she blends indie rock energy with vulnerable storytelling. Her music explores ambition, belonging, and identity through soaring vocals and guitar-driven emotion. With support from Spotify Fresh Finds and VEVO DSCVR Pop, Jeena is carving her own lane in the Korean American music landscape.

Together, these artists show how wide and expressive contemporary Korean music truly is. K-Music Night 2026 is not only about sound. It is about language, migration, memory, belonging, and the bridges music can build between cultures.

In New York, a city shaped by immigrant stories and global rhythms, this series feels right at home. It honors Korean creativity while also inviting audiences to think about what cultural exchange looks like in real time. Sometimes, it looks like a packed theater. Sometimes, it sounds like one voice, one guitar, one lyric, and a room full of people listening.

Admission is free and open to the public. Advance registration is required, and attendees will be selected by lottery because of limited seating. Select performances will also be livestreamed through the Korean Cultural Center New York’s YouTube channel.
