Conjure, embrace, and celebrate the power of women, feminism, and art during a night of engaging activities. Inspired by feminist themes found within the Museum’s collection and special exhibition, Wendy Red Star: A Scratch on the Earth. In recognition of Women’s History Month.
Highlights:
- Dance party with DJ C. DeVone spinning global sounds and feminist anthems.
- An all-star, all-women-identified DJ lineup will showcase individual sets dedicated to turntablism, music, and womanhood. Performing DJs include: UNIIQU3, Quiana Parks, SONI withanEYE, and C. DeVone.
- Learn tools for physical and mental protection in a women’s self-defense class.
- A comedic multimedia presentation on modern feminism, art, and pop culture. Led by Danette Rodriguez.
- Guided tour led by an intimacy expert to discuss how women’s sexuality is represented in visual art. Led by Rebecca Torosian.
- Learn about resources for women provided by organizations including Sister Diaspora for Liberation and Sister to Sister Community Doulas.
- Drop-in art-making inspired by Wendy Red Star’s exhibition.

Late Thursdays are designed for adult audiences.
