Bartender pouring a craft cocktail into a crystal glass, representing Princess Cruises’ exclusive collaboration with Handshake Speakeasy.

Princess Cruises has officially partnered with Handshake Speakeasy, the Mexico City bar that’s been crowned Best Bar in North America for two years running by World’s 50 Best Bars. If you know anything about cocktail culture, you already understand: that’s like partnering with the Yankees of mixology. These folks are the real deal—quiet confidence, immaculate technique, and flavors that hit like a revelation.

Now, those same award-winning cocktail minds are bringing five exclusive, handcrafted drinks to sea for the first time ever. And trust me—these aren’t drinks you can copy at home. This is artistry. This is culinary storytelling. This is Mexico City’s electric bar scene bottled, shaken, and poured aboard a Princess ship gliding across the globe.

An Unprecedented Collaboration at Sea

For Princess Cruises, known worldwide as The Love Boat and still delivering some of the most memorable vacations on the water, this partnership is another notch in their already elite hospitality belt. Whether you’re sailing the turquoise Caribbean or watching the sun rise over the glaciers of Alaska, Princess wants every sip to feel like a moment.

Sami Kohen, VP of Food & Beverage for Princess Cruises, said it best:

“These are cocktails you simply can’t get anywhere else in the world.”

And he’s not exaggerating. These five cocktails were created by Handshake’s mixology maestros—led by co-owner Eric Van Beek—who bring the same precision and flavor-forward approach that earned them the title of World’s Best Bar 2024.

Where to Sip Onboard

The drinks land November 14, 2025, on the brand-new Star Princess, before rolling out across all 17 ships. Here’s the rundown:
