The Silverstein Dream Foundation’s 5th Annual Hamptons Garden Gala
There’s just something magical about the Hamptons in late summer—the air feels lighter, the sunsets glow a little more golden, and the social scene sparkles with meaning when philanthropy takes center stage. This year, Patricia and Roger Silverstein turned their stunning Water Mill estate into the ultimate stage for compassion, style, and community at the 5th Annual Hamptons Garden Gala, hosted by the Silverstein Dream Foundation.

The evening, benefiting the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation (DRIF), was every bit the elegant Hamptons affair you’d expect, blending high fashion with heartfelt purpose. Guests arrived to a cocktail reception that flowed seamlessly across the manicured grounds, where glasses clinked and conversations lingered against the estate’s sweeping views. It was an intimate, social-season moment that whispered luxury while amplifying impact.

As the sun dipped, the night moved into a seated dinner where DRIF ambassadors shared powerful stories about the fight to prevent and cure diabetes. Between courses, a spirited live auction added an electric buzz, while entertainment and dancing carried the celebration deep into the night.

The guest list read like a who’s who of Hamptons philanthropy and style: Roger and Patricia Silverstein, Brian and Carrie Packin, Nitin Gambhir, Elena Ulansky, Peter Thomas-Roth, Jean Shafiroff, Joseph and Noreen Donovan, James Brynes, Karen and Scott Ressler, Rebecca and Dave Swanson, Ni Ricordi, Sugie Hong Bruttomesso, Devra Miller, Regina Mukhtarova, and Sarrah Rose—all gathered in support of a cause that touches so many lives.

The Silverstein Dream Foundation itself is more than just a nonprofit—it’s a mission with momentum. With a focus on supporting academic research, implementing prevention programs, and strategically investing in early-stage companies, the Foundation is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in diabetes care. Its work is about more than funding—it’s about hope, innovation, and creating real change for millions worldwide.

Partnering with the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation—recognized globally as a leader in cure-focused science—meant that every dollar raised at the Hamptons Garden Gala was tied directly to action. DRIF’s role as a bridge, providing critical philanthropic support for cutting-edge researchers, ensures that promising breakthroughs don’t get lost in the shuffle of traditional funding cycles.

At the end of the night, the Garden Gala wasn’t just another Hamptons soirée. It was a living example of what happens when beauty, community, and purpose meet. Because here in the Hamptons, glamour has always been at its best when it gives back.
