Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen on the red carpet at HFC’s $1.3M-raising Friendsgiving celebratio

A Night of Laughter, Love & Purpose

When you combine laughter, purpose, and a whole community determined to make life better for families touched by Alzheimer’s… baby, that’s a recipe for a powerful night. And that’s exactly what went down in Downtown Los Angeles as Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen hosted their beloved Hilarity for Charity (HFC) Friendsgiving fundraiser — a signature event that brought together 500 guests, countless smiles, and a staggering $1.3 million raised for Alzheimer’s support and brain health education.

Let me tell you — this wasn’t just an event. It was a celebration of community, compassion, and the unstoppable determination to fight a disease that affects far too many families.

A Cause Born From Love

Hilarity for Charity was founded back in 2012 after Lauren’s mother was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s at just 55 years old. Instead of sitting in the pain, Seth and Lauren turned it into purpose — building a national nonprofit dedicated to lifting up caregivers, educating future generations, and pushing brain health forward. Over the years, HFC has granted more than half a million hours of in-home care and raised over $28 million. That’s impact.

A Star-Studded Night With Heart

Friendsgiving lit up Rolling Greens with everything from carnival games to gourmet food trucks — but the real magic came from the performances. World-renowned mentalist Asi Wind had guests gasping. Kumail Nanjiani and Tig Notaro delivered comedy with heart. And then there was Hayley Williams, who brought the house down with a performance that was not only electric but deeply personal.

Hayley shared that her grandfather died of Alzheimer’s, calling him a “beautiful, artistic, and gentle soul.” Her words reminded all of us why gatherings like this matter.

And, of course, Hollywood showed up with love. Familiar faces included Mayim Bialik, Chase Sui Wonders, Ashley Williams, Guillermo Díaz, Katie Lowes, Whitney Port, Sarah Rafferty, Caitlin Reilly, and so many more — all standing in solidarity with HFC’s mission.

The Power of Community

With partners like Apple TV, Biogen, UTA, the Judy Jane Foundation, and supporters from the entertainment and medical worlds, this Friendsgiving wasn’t just a fundraiser — it was a movement.

As Seth and Lauren said so beautifully:
“We’re not in this fight alone.”
And they’re right. No family, no caregiver, no loved one touched by Alzheimer’s should ever feel alone.

Why This Matters

Alzheimer’s is one of the most challenging journeys a family can face. HFC continues to be a lifeline — providing free respite care, education, and resources that make a real difference in real homes, for real people.

Nights like Friendsgiving show us what’s possible when passion meets compassion.

And in true HFC fashion — they made sure everyone laughed while changing the world.
