ParkBench Atlanta at The Battery celebrating 32 years with performers in front of the venue
Atlanta has no shortage of nightlife spots, but few can claim the legacy, longevity, and legendary vibes of ParkBench, which just marked its 32nd year as a cornerstone of the city’s music scene. For more than three decades, this iconic venue has been the heartbeat of unforgettable nights out — where live music meets community, and every performance feels like a celebration.

Since opening in 1994, ParkBench has cultivated an atmosphere that blends world-class talent with down-to-earth fun. Back in the day, it was home to none other than Zac Brown as its house band, and over the years it has welcomed names like Hootie & the Blowfish alongside countless up-and-coming stars — most recently country sensation Megan Moroney, who graced the ParkBench stage just eight months ago.

In 2020, the story of ParkBench entered a bold new chapter when the Atlanta Braves invited the venue to relocate from Buckhead to The Battery Atlanta. The move brought ParkBench right to the heart of the city’s entertainment hub, with its grand opening in 2021 perfectly syncing with the Braves’ World Series win. Talk about perfect timing.

If you’ve ever been to ParkBench, you know the magic isn’t just in the music — it’s in the energy. The venue’s dueling pianos have become nationally recognized, with some of the best entertainers in the country drawing crowds from across the region. And with 32 years of delivering safe, electric nights — zero incidents in all that time — ParkBench has built a reputation not just for fun, but for trust and consistency.

This summer, ParkBench proved once again why it’s in a league of its own by hosting the MLB All-Star Game Red Carpet Event, serving both teams and their families before the big game. The Battery location has made ParkBench a magnet for high-profile moments while still holding on to its neighborhood charm.

For over 32 years, ParkBench has been about more than music — it’s about community, quality, and creating nights people will never forget,” said owner Larry Hall. “Moving to The Battery Atlanta was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and we’ve built something truly special here.”

From its Buckhead beginnings to its spotlight at The Battery, ParkBench remains the place where Atlanta goes for nights that hit just right — vibrant, soulful, and always unforgettable. With its prime location, commitment to excellence, and stage that keeps calling the best in live music, ParkBench isn’t just celebrating 32 years — it’s proving why it’s still setting the standard for nightlife in Atlanta and beyond.
