Oddities and Curiosities Expo Las Vegas 2025 – taxidermy, horror art, and strange wonders at World Market Center
Las Vegas has always been a city that thrives on spectacle, but come September 13th and 14th, Sin City will play host to a gathering that takes “showtime” to a whole new dimension. The Oddities and Curiosities Expo returns to the World Market Center, bringing with it a traveling cabinet of wonders that’s equal parts eerie, enlightening, and entertaining.

Tickets start at just $10 (oddities.com)—which means you can step into a world where the strange isn’t shunned but celebrated. Think of it as Comic-Con for the beautifully bizarre: hundreds of vendors and artists showcasing everything from taxidermy and preserved specimens to horror-inspired art, antiques, skulls, bones, and metaphysical rarities.

This isn’t some gimmick. The Expo—founded in Oklahoma by Michelle and Tony Cozzaglio—has become the national platform for creators and collectors who deal in the odd and extraordinary. In 2025, it’s traveling to 40 cities across the U.S. and Canada, uniting communities of people who thrive in the shadows of the unique.

Michelle put it best: “We created this expo to give odd small businesses and artists a space where they can thrive. Our goal is to build a community where people feel safe to be themselves, surrounded by like-minded folks who appreciate the weird and wonderful.”

And thrive, they have. Each event feels curated with intention, delivering exactly what fans of the strange want to see. That means the Vegas stop will be packed not only with jaw-dropping shopping opportunities but also with immersive experiences: tarot readings, sideshow performances, photo ops, and a vibe that’s as much family reunion as it is marketplace.

Classes for the Brave

Beyond browsing, guests can dig into hands-on learning. On Saturday, September 13th, there’s the Jackalope Taxidermy Class ($225, 10 AM–4 PM), where attendees craft their own full-size mount under the guidance of Heather Clark of Sleeping Sirens Art & Oddities. On Sunday, September 14th, she’ll host two Beginner Entomology Classes ($150, 10 AM–12:30 PM and 1:30 PM–4 PM) focused on beetles and spiders. All materials are included, and tickets to these classes also cover expo admission.

Worth noting—every specimen used has been sourced ethically, with animals that died naturally. The Cozzaglios make sure that integrity and sustainability sit right alongside the spectacle.

Why It Matters

For me, what makes the Oddities and Curiosities Expo more than just an event is that it mirrors something deeply human: our fascination with mystery. From ancient cabinets of curiosity to modern-day cryptid hunts, people have always craved spaces where the strange can shine. This expo feels like a 21st-century extension of that tradition, wrapped in a DIY ethos and fueled by passionate artisans.

And what better city than Vegas—where the unusual is the norm and spectacle is the currency—to celebrate that spirit?

The Oddities and Curiosities Expo runs Saturday, September 13th (10 AM–6 PM) and Sunday, September 14th (10 AM–4 PM) at World Market Center Las Vegas, 435 S Grand Central Pkwy, Las Vegas, NV 89106. Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door. Children 12 and under get in free.

Whether you’re a collector of rare finds, an art lover with a dark streak, or just someone who wants to be wowed, this expo promises strange wonders you won’t soon forget.
