Jo The Little Women Musical West End Premiere

A Universal Story. A Cultural Moment. A Theatrical Triumph in the Making

There are stories that simply never fade. And Louisa May Alcott’s Little Women is one of those rare literary jewels that continues to sparkle generation after generation. Now, that timeless tale is being reimagined in the most magical way with the upcoming world premiere semi-staged West End concert of “Jo – The Little Women Musical.”

Mark your calendars for Sunday, January 25, 2026, as London’s iconic Theatre Royal Drury Lane—fresh off a jaw-dropping £60 million restoration by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber—becomes home to this spectacular new production.

This isn’t just a musical—it’s a moment.

With music by Dan Redfeld, book and lyrics by Christina Harding and John Gabriel Koladziej, and direction and choreography by JoAnn M. Hunter (whose Broadway resume reads like a dream: School of Rock, Bad Cinderella), Jo promises to bring fierce passion, vulnerability, and fire to the story of literature’s original rebel heart, Jo March.

The dazzling cast already has theatre fans buzzing:
Christine Allado (Hamilton, GRAMMY nominee) as Jo March
Christine Ebersole (42nd Street, two-time Tony winner) as Aunt March
Kelly Mathieson (The Phantom of the Opera) as Meg March
Sophie Pollono (Showtime’s I Love That For You) as Amy March
Eleanor Grant (Avatar LIVE) as Beth March
Tobias Turley (Mamma Mia!) as Theodore “Laurie” Laurence

All accompanied by a 26-piece orchestra, with more Broadway and West End stars soon to be announced.

This grand concert comes on the heels of the Jo – The Little Women Musical studio album, recorded at Abbey Road Studios and released globally in May via Center Stage Records. Produced by five-time GRAMMY nominee and three-time Emmy winner Nigel Wright and Dan Redfeld, the album is streaming everywhere (Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Amazon Music) and available as a special 2-CD set.

Composer Dan Redfeld shares, “Following the amazing critical response to the Jo album, we are thrilled to finally bring this magical musical to life in London’s West End featuring many of the wonderful artists who worked on the album.”

The heart of Jo – The Little Women Musical beats with universal truth. It’s for dreamers and doers, for anyone who’s questioned their path, or burned with the desire to tell their story. It’s Jo March reborn—bold, brave, and beautifully human.
