Get ready for a one-of-a-kind celebration! LA Pride takes over Universal Studios Hollywood on Saturday, June 15th, 2024, for “Pride is Universal,” an all-ages event.
This epic day blends thrilling rides, dazzling shows, and infectious community spirit, all under the rainbow flag.
Here’s what awaits:
- Daytime Fun & Extended Nightlife: General Admission gets you into the park at 4 pm, with exclusive after-hours access from 9 pm to 2 am. Expect shorter lines, themed food and drinks, live DJs, dance floors, character meet-and-greets, and dazzling drag shows!
- VIP Experience: Upgrade to the VIP – Universal Express ticket for early access at 2 pm, priority ride access, premium show viewing, and entry to the exclusive LA Pride VIP Lounge.
- Studio Tour Turns 60: Celebrate the iconic Studio Tour’s 60th anniversary with special experiences! Explore film sets, capture fun pics, and enjoy retro-themed food and souvenirs.
- Fierce Drag Shows: The main stage heats up with performances by DJ Brynn Taylor and RuPaul’s Drag Race royalty: Morgan McMichaels, Kornbread Jetè, Alexis Mateo, and All Stars S1 winner Chad Michaels.
- New! Inclusive Pride Prom: Didn’t have your dream prom? This year, dance the night away (9 pm to 1 am) at the all-inclusive Pride Prom in Universal Plaza. It’s open to everyone, with multi-generational hits, themed decor, photo ops, and live entertainment.
- Early Hours Kids Club: From 5 pm to 7 pm, LGBTQ+ families can enjoy live music, park characters, and fun activities designed for all ages. It’s a perfect Father’s Day celebration for LGBTQ+ families!
- Supporting the Cause: “Pride is Universal” benefits Christopher Street West (CSW), the non-profit behind the LA Pride Parade. Ticket sales support CSW’s year-round community programs.
